Pacific Plaza, the newest mini-park in downtown Dallas,
was officially dedicated this afternoon.
The park, at the intersection of Bryan and Olive,
features a modernistic sculpture by Jose Luis Sanchez,
a noted artist from Madrid. The work was commissioned
by the Great American Reserve Life Insurance Company of
Dallas. Sanchez said he designed the aluminum x
sculpture to blend in with the skyscrapers of the down-
town area.
