Script from the WBAP-TV/NBC station in Fort Worth, Texas, relating a news story about an 8 foot levee on the Trinity river which is being constructed to protect the multi- million dollar Las Colinas real estate development in Irving continues to draw fire from local environmentalists on the grounds that the levee may in fact endanger other area of Dallas county.
The Special Collections Department collects and preserves rare and unique materials including rare books, oral histories, university archives, historical manuscripts, maps, microfilm, photographs, art and artifacts. The department is located in UNT's Willis Library in the fourth floor Reading Room.
