According to Kinsey, most homosexuals (60%) don't want
monogamous (one partner) relationships. However, of the
37% who seek such relationships, the average of the longest
such relationship in a homosexual's life is only about two
years.3
Obviously, the homosexual's pitiful search for meaning,
love and fulfillment usually results in more degradation,
humiliation and further rejection.
Given these sad facts, it's easy to see homosexuals as God
undoubtedly sees them: the degraded victims of their own
blindness - seeking fulfillment through self-will and hard-
hearted rebellion rather than through restoration of
fellowship by means of repentance and God's forgiveness.
This condition has not been confined to modern times.
"God gave them over to degrading passions; for their
women exchanged the natural function for that which is
unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned
the natural function of the woman and burned in their
desire toward one another, men with men committing in-
decent acts ..." (Romans 1:26, 27 NASV)

Gay Surrender
In the late 20th Century, homosexuals themselves have
begun to find that Gay power, can't fulfill the deep and
searching inner spiritual. needs of the gaylirdividual.
Only one relationship can permanently and fully satisfy
man's deep need for love, approval and a sense of belonging.
Homosexuality's endless shell game of promiscuity,, perver-
sion and politics can only make living,:less. tolerable -for
homosexuals, because those who experience homosexuali-
ty's meager substitutes soon discover sensualism's utter in-
ability to satisfy, while it tends to magnify their continuing
winner spiritual craving.
And, though some homosexuals would deny that
homosexuality is. sin; Scripture's clear and undeniable
message is to: thecontrary. Jesus (Mt. 19:9; Mark 10:6; Luke
17:28), Paul (Romans 1:26, 27; I Cor. 6:9; I Tim, 1:9, 10),
Peter. (II Peter 2;4-7), Solomon (Proverbs 2831:33) and Moses
(Gen. 1:27;,-13:13; 18:20; 19:5; Leviticus 18:22) concur:
homosexuality is sin. As such, it has no legitimate place in
the life of a Christian. For one to claim homosexuality as
a, sexual preference, while claiming thel ordship. of Jesus
Christ over all areas of one's life constitutes an impossibleconfrontation of opposing wills - God's will versus fallen
man s.
Only a true and yielded person-to-person relationship with
the God who created all men can fully fill that inner need.
Jesus Christ, surrendering his autonomy to the will of His
Father, provided the just payment for all mankind's sin by
dying on the cross. Following His crucifixion, He rose from
the grave; thereby, validating his numerous claims of deity.
Not only did God, himself, pay the penalty for all sin;
He provided the continuing power to transform all sinners
into Sons of God - be they murderers, thieves, haters,
backbiters, adulterers or homosexuals.
The true answer to the need of homosexuals, as for all
other sinners, is not to be found in brazenly glorifying or
celebrating error and rebellion as if they were good. Such
rebellion - even when it becomes the dominant power -
still leads only to unhappiness, disease, disappointment and
finally, death.
True deliverance comes only through surrender - not
surrender to mistaken and hopeless sensual cravings - but
surrender to the tender love of a self-sacrificing God who
himself ". . . was in all points tempted like as we are, yet
without sin."
(Hebrews 4:15)
"Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:
old things are passed away; behold, all things are become
new.
(II Corinthians 5:17)
For that reason and with full faith,
"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that
we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of
need."
