A former Dallas milkman, 28-year old Kenneth H. Arnold,
appears before U-S Commissioner Hill today after being
arrested by secret service agents. The federal men
say Arnold is one of three sought for passing three-
hundred dollars in counterfeit ten-dollar bills in Aus-
tin last Tuesday. The bills are described as being in
a 1950-B series--a counterfeit that has been passed
across the nation for several months. The agents say
they do not know the source of the bills or how they
got intb Texas. They describe Arnold, who was identi-
fied from a picture as the man who actually passed the
bills, as having only a minor role in the operation.CU YOUNG MAN
Arnold says he has been out of work for ten days since
leaving his job. He sayo he has never been in trouble
before, and pleads with Commissioner Hill to let him
out of jail wife and three children depend-ing on him.
