'17-year old Jefferson J. Jarvis of 1719 Thomas Place in
Fort Worth arrives at Dallas' Love Field I
following an eventful trip to Washington, D.C. While
in the capital, Jarvis was elected president of Boy's
Nation. He is welcomed home by his father John J.
Jarvis, brother Jim, and girl friend Carol Haggard.
Jarvis was one of a 100-boys on an annual trip to
Washington sponsored by the American Legion. the
Arlington Heights senior was scheduled to meet President
Kennedy during a brief visit to the White House, but the
( President was speaking to Congress. However, he did
meet I Vice President Johnson, Navy Secretary Connally

Peace Corps director Shriver, and Texas Senators Towerand Yarborough.
