MAJESTIC 1-1-1-1-1-11
The stagehouse is all that is left of the historic
old Majestic theater in downtown Fort Worth. Work
on its demolition is expected to be completed by
tomorrow and the site will be cleared of debris
within nine days. The Majestic block is the last
of thd 13 blocks to be cleared for the county
convention center. It died hard, with its owner
and his supporters fighting to save it for what
they called its historic value. By tomorrow it will
be gone except for the theatrical ghosts that may
m choose to linger.
