“PRINCE OF PEACE.’’
Oh blessed Christ Child born so. long ago,
. In lowly manger thoygh of royal line,
We bend our heads in adoration low
And in our hearts acknowledge Thee devine.
For Thou, Oh Bon of God, who in Thy. love

Mad’st ample proof Thy birth was from above
By daily life of loving ministry.

Above Judea’s j tins awoke the night

Or that the shepherds, watching o’er their sheep.
Entranced by song they heard the angels sing,
Should leave their flocks nor longer vigil keep
Till they had knelt ifl worship to their king,
Or that the magi from the east afar
Should render homage and bestow rich gifts.
Led as they were by truth’s unerring star
"To manger cradle with the world uplifts?
And so as with these simple men and seers
We worship or bring gifts of myrrh and gold,
Oh take away our doubtiugs and our fear,
That wo Thy face in Weaut.y may behold,
Not now, as then, a Babe in Bethlehem,.

“Three years ago I was marked
for death. A grave-yard cough
was tearing my lungs to pieces.
Doctors failed to help .me, and
hope had fled, when my husband
got, Dr. Ging’s New Discovery,”
says Mrs. A. G. Williams, of Bar,

and improvement kept on until I
had gained 58-pounds' in weight

Sermon Heard Ten Miles.
The editor of the Review, while
sitting in his office Saturday
night, enjoyed a serman over the
telephone preached by Rev. J. W.
Hargrove at J. H. Preas’ resi-
dence, two milesf rom Cooper,
and others on the line were lis-
tening as far aWay as Charleston.
Tho speaker was standing near
the phone and his words were
distinctly heard ten miles dis-
tant.
This suggests an idea that of-
ten when prominent men speak
at Cooper aqd elsewhere over the
county, by courtesy of the tele
phone people, arrangements can
be made so many people over Lite
county can h6ar them.
To the Public.
In regard to raffling, as is now
being carried on in this county, I
wish to say that same iB a viola-
tion of the law, as held by the
Court of Criminal Appeals in a
recent decision in the case of
Grant, ot al.,vs the State, holding
that the manner in which it is
carried on come3 under the article
prohibiting|lotteries. I don’t want
to do any one an injustice and
will not prosecute for past viola-
tions, as they were innocently
carried on, but will for any fu-
ture violations.
Yours respectfully,
Auiirey T. Stell,
County Attorney, Delta Co. Tex.
Eat all the good food you like
Quit dieting. You don’t have to
diet to oure dyspepsia. In fact
you can not cure dyspepsia or in-
digestion that way, but rather you
must add strength to the weak
stomach by taking something that
will digest the food which the
stomach can not digest. Kodoi is
the only thing known today that
will do this.Kodoi is made of natur
»1 digestive juices found in a heal-
t,by-stomach, and it digests all
food completely. Kodoi is pleas-
ant to take, and is guaranteed to
give relief in any case of stom-
ach trouble.’ Sold by all ’drug-
gists. . " ‘ ;
