Mrs. George Roberts left Tues-
day for Dallas, where she will be
the guest of her sister, Mrs. S.
Zimmerman. After spending some
time at the Centennial celebra-
tion in Dallas and Fort Worth,
Mrs. Zimmerman and Mrs. Rob-
erts will spend several weeks in
Marlin.

The Bar Mitzvah of. Charles
Moskowitz, son of Mr. and Mrs
J. L. Moskowitz, will be observed
at Temple Beth El, Crawford and
Lamar, at the Saturday morning
services at 8:45 o’clock. Follow-
ing the services, Mr. and Mrs.
Moskowitz will tender a recep-
tion in honor of the Bar Mitz-
vah in Montefiore HalL Open
house in honor of the Bar Mitz-
vah will be held Sunday after-
noon from 3 to 6, at 315 West
Gray. No other invitations except
through the press.

son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Norman
Clark. Miss Aronson is bride-to-
be of Mr. Abe Guttman, the wed-
ding to take place on the 25th of
October in Dallas.

Finkelstein, who are on an ex-
tended tour to Niagara Falls,
points in Canada, Chicago and
other eastern points, are guests
at the McAlpin Hotel in New
York City. They Intend to return

twenty-fifth wedding anniver-

Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Glick are
the proud parents of a baby boy,
born August 11, Mrs. Glick will
be remembered as Rosella Finger.

The home of Mr. and Mrs.
Meyer Adams was the scene at
7:30 p.m. Tuesday for the mar-
riage of their daughter, Mozelle,
to Tobias Wolf, son of Mr. and
Mrs. S. M. Wolf, all of Cincinnati,
O. Dr. Henry Barns ton perform-
ed the ceremony and John Mar-
shall sang the bridal solo, “At
Dawning.” He was accompanied
by Theodore Meyer, pianist, who
also played the wedding marches.
The fireplace in the living
room, where the bridal party
grouped, was banked with palms
and defined at each side by tall,
pedestal baskets filled With white
asters. White tapers in branched
candelabra burned at each side
of the space.
Given in marriage by her fath-
er, the bride wore a lovely gown
of white tulle over wedding ring
satin. The neckline of the crea-
tion was draped, the drapery ex-
tending over the shoulders and
continuing into short sleeves. A
satin corded belt encircles her
waist line and the full, billowy
skirt was banded with the satin
cording. Her three-quarters
length veil fell from a cap of
real lace and a standing halo
framed her head. She carried a
shower bouquet of white roses
and lilies of the valley.
Miss Bernice Simon, the maid
of honor, was gowned in yellow
satin, and Mrs. Milton Bloom, sis-
ter of the bridegroom, who serv-
ed as matron of honor, was in
aquamarine satin. Both carried
arm clusters of purple asters. Mr.
Wolf attended his son as best
man.
Mrs. Adams wore saphire blue
crepe with a corsage of white
rosebuds and Mrs. Wolf was in
blade chiffon with a corsage at
ping rosebuds.
For the reception which follow
ed, the bride’s table held the
three-tired wedding cake and was
also decorated with white rose*
and lilies of the valley in a crys-
tal bowl which rested upon a re-
flector. White tapers burned in
Sam Realty Co.

Miss Rose Stoloff of New York,
prominent writer and lecturer in
the cause of Zionism in the
United States, will be honored
with a reception this Friday
evening at Temple Betti El,
Crawford and Lamar, it was an-
nounced by M. J. Gerber and M.
Atlas in behalf of the Palestine
Labor League of Houston under
whose auspices the reception will
be given. The Young Judaeans
are also joining in extending
honor to Miss Stoloff. Miss Stol-
off is at present spending a brief
vacation sojum with relatives in
Houston. Two years ago she was
the guest speaker at the Young
Judaean convention in Dallas.
One of her important contribu-
tions towards Zionism is a book-
let entitled -Cooperative Settle-
ment in Palestine.”
A special service has been an-
nounced for this occasion by Si-
mon Lewis, chairman of the Beth
El Ritual Committee. Rabbi Na-
than H. Colish will officiate and
extend greetings to the guest of
honor. Cantor Israel S. Krasnoff
will conduct the ritual service.
Following the services, a recep-
tion will be tendered in Monte- i
fiore Hall in honor of Miss Stol-
off by the Pioneer Women of
Palestine Society of Houston. The
arrangements committee includes
the fUowing M. Atlas, chairman
of the Palestine Labor League;
M. J. Gerber, Sol Wisenberg.
