We are authorized to announce
P. H. (Pomp) Watson, for re-
eleetion to the office of Sheriff
and Tax-Collector of Schleicher
county subject to the action of
the democratic primary. Mr.
Watson has tilled the office with-
out fear or favor and seeks the
office again upon his past record,
we ask the voters of this county
to carefully consider his claim
when they cast their ballots.
Mr Tucker Cloud and Miss
Myrtle Smith, stole away to San
Angelo, Sunday Dec. 2d, and
were united in the holy bonds of
wedlock by Rev. Geo. L. Keever,
former pastor ol the Methodist
church here Mr. Cloud is o«e
of our popular young business
men, with many friends in our
midst. Miss Smith is one of Kl*
dorado's popular young ladies,
wbo was mailing her home with
her sister Mrs. B. P. Bennett,
she like her husband has a host
of friends in our midst, who join

The young couple was accom-
panied to San Angelo by Mr.
Milton Kenley, Miss Essie Alex-
ander and Wade Hampton.

Ball Team played the Saa Ange-
lo Team on the San Angelo
grounds, the Eldorado boys did
splended work and was defeat-
ing the San Angelo boys badly
when the game was abruptedly
ended, when a San Angelo play-
ers remarked, if they didn’t
puit guarding him so heavy he
was going to whip some body,
the Eldorado player informed
him that there was no use to put
°ff what could be donethen, after
which some blows were passed
and the game ended with Eldo-
rado the victors.

teaohers from the faculty, by
marriage, during the Christmas
holidays, but their places were
filled with good competent teach-

Tuesday evening Dec. 28, in
south Eldorado. The groom is
a young stockman (of the Juno
eountry. The bride is a daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Curry
who recently moved here from
Ozona. The Success wishes lor
the newly wed couple a life of

M. N. Harrison and two sons,
of Junction, were in Eldorudo
Saturday on business. They
had been to Ozona wher e two of
Mr. Harrison's girls hold posi-
tions in the Ozona high school.
