Samaritans Thrift Shop will have

will be held on Thursday, Janu-
ary 28, at 6:30 p.m. at the Texas
AgrfLife Extension Service and

broken open and scattered. A
third managed to remain intact

the party yielded the identity
of the contracted refuse hauler
Since the incident occurred oa„
the same date as the pick-up
date for the party, I contacted
the refuse hauler about the mat-
ter The refuse hauler oooM wnt
verify that the refuse had indeed
fallen froifi his vehicle, but since-
it occurred on the same date as
the pick-up, he agreed to send
whom ottered to help clean up
the mess. That speaks volumes
about the sincerity of some citi-
zens’ commitments to a clean
