FOR AUGUST, 1915
The vital statistic report for
th month of August has just
been made public by the state
health department, and shows
that during August there were
22t>l deaths in Texas and 4720
births- making an increase 2459
There were 2142 white hoy
babies born and 20.46 white girl
babies born; 17ti negro hov babies
and H'i4 girls, with 51 w hite and
24 blacks in which no sex were
reported.
There were 4<i sets of whit
twins and five sets o| negro twins
and one set of triplets, white,
three hoys born in Wichita coun-
ty.
<M the 70 twin children born
152 wen* born alive and are living
while M were stillborn. There
were 40 illegitimate births of
w hich there were one set of twins.
