Union school was closed at the
VM Baptist Church last Friday
•▼wring after a campaign lasting
tor the entire week under the
direction of Miss Evrrltt Whitlock
of Dallas. A total of 130 enrolled
for the courses and at the Anal
service 99 received awards.
llwodore Whitehead Is now
•aneral director for the eight
unions which meet each Sunday
evening one hour before the wor-
ship service.
Sponsors and leaders for the
various unions are: beginners,
Mrs C. W. Jennings; primary.
Mrs. Minnie Maud Alexander;
Junior No. 1. Mmes. Ed Lengefeld
and Fred Holliday; Junior No. 2,
Mmes. Ernest Moody and Mark
Davis; Intermediate, Mrs. Ira Wat-
son; senior prep union, Mr. and
Mrs. Roy Worley; young people,
Mmes. E. F. Lawless and Malcolm
Morgan; junior-adult union,
Oeorge West; adult union, Ernest
Moody. A. O. Bartlett Is general
secretary.
At the close of the school Fri-
day evening a social was held
with 116 attending. Pictures In
full color were shown by the pas-
tor of McCord Field, Washington;
Kelly Field, Ban Antonio; and
Bruce Field, Ballinger.
