This is Monday morning. The
sun is shining and the birds are
singing. Maybe Spring is fin-
ally here; but we have sure had
some cold weather out this way.
We had church at the Bap-
tist Church Sunday morning
and Sunday night. There was a
good attendance at both serv-
ices. Our pastor and his boys
attended singing at Early High
School Sunday evening. Several
In our community attended a
singing at Gatesville Sunday
evening.
Mr. and Mrs Z. Karnes went
to Gatesville to visit their new
great-granddaughter. Mr. and
Mrs. Larry Kames have a new
daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Darrell
Head are the maternal grand-
parents. Mrs. Rosa Head and
Tom, Mr and Mrs. Z. Karnes,
Mr. and Mrs. Hardie Collier and
Mr. and Mrs. WUlis Williams,
are all great-grandparents. We
have a great-grandchild our-
selves. Beverly Rogers, Mattle
Joe's daughter, has a baby
daughter. It makes you think
you are getting on up there.
Hilda Mae Frank was home
this weekend visiting her par-
ents and brother, Mr. and Mrs.
Walter Frank and Harold.
We were sorry to hear about
Mrs. Graham Wall’s death. We
want to send our deepest sym-
pathy to her loved ones. May
God bless all of you.
Mr. and Mrs. Lee Watson and
children were visiting Mr. and
Mrs. Jess Whitley I
weekend.
Mrs. Bill Eckert
Cary Dupree visited

Yesterday Mr. and Mrs. Fred
Register spent the day with us.
We enjoyed them all.
Mr. and Mrs. John Howard
Owens and children visited Mrs.
Rosa Head and Mr. and Mrs.
Sherwood Owens over the week-
end.
Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Evans
are driving a new car. They vis-
ited us a little while Sunday
evening.
I talked to Mr. and Mrs. Jim-
my Wright Sunday Mr. Wright
has been on the sick list.
Mrs. Wright said they both
feeling very well.
Mrs. Millard Meek and
Mildred Cole and daughter,
Paula, visited us one morning
last week.
We are kindly getting home-
sick to see our granddaughter
and grandson of San Antonio.
We haven't seen them since
Christmas We hope to go to
see them before too long If the
weather doesn't get too bad.
I will try to get this In the
mall today. We want to send our
deepest sympathy to the ones
who have lost their loved ones.
I have some loved ones that are
not doing very well at all. I do
hope they are better.
