Monday for lt» regular February
term with much buxlneg, to trana-
act. Commissioners Morgan, Cum
ningham, and Riley were the first
to arrive with Judge Hoskins pre-
siding, and Commissioner Sweat
came in later.
Among the items to be considered
at the session are the examination
of the report of Collevtor Hennenfor
January collections, which will be
very heavy. Mr Hennen hopes to
have it ready by Thursday. The
appointment of road overseers for
the.next yoar will also be attended
to and the routine matters accumu-
lating since the January term.
It is not definitely known as yet
whether the proponents of the $250,.
000 road bond issue will present
their petitions for an election or not,
although it is known that they have
more than the necessary number of
signers to secure the election. It .k
possible that they may prefer to
await the result of the bill in the
legislature to permit the issuance
of bonds by a majority vote.
