Friday night football was every-
thing (and more) for those at Bearcat
Stadium as they saw a little football,
a lot of wind and dust, lightning, rain,
and the game delayed until Saturday

Saturday was a beautiful day and
the Bearcats began with an 8-0 lead

Town Talk
Mike Hare, De Leon Hospital
Adm inistrator, was in the office Tues-
day for a brief visit and to leave an
article relating to the local hospital
and its present condition.
It is really lough to accept a little
setback, but in no way is the hospital
ready to close its doors to patients. It
is only having to downsize its staff to
insure a profit, in order that we can
continue to have health care on a
local basis.
I doubt that (here is a business in
town that, at some time or other, has
not had to cut expenses to survive
from lime to time, or things have had
to be reworked or cut to maintain
sufficient funds.
Mike assure me that the move was
only to cut expenses, not services.
Also, he encouraged the use of local
facilities to assure us of continued
health care, such as we have become
accustomed.
