The Women on Mission of The
First Baptist Church met Tuesday
August 17th, with Coordinator Doris
Hammit presiding and leading the
opening prayer.
The program was a continuation
from last week on the Alaskan Cruise
taken by Helen Short. A film was
shown of the scenery from Glacier
Bay. She presented a fact sheet about
Alaska that was informative. Spruces,
thickets, hemlocks and some flowers
grow there. We are all grateful to
Helen for sharing this experience
with us.
Another communication was read
from Charles and Ann Clark asking
for prayer support. The nominating
committee presented a new list for the
upcoming year. They were as follows:
Coordinator-Doris Hammit, Assis-
tant Coordinator-Margie Hale, Sec-
retary, Treasurer, and Reporter-Bar-

Think snack-sizes with everything
you pack in the lunch box, including
sandwiches.
•Create great sandwich-ins with
mini bagels. They can be topped with
peanut butter and jelly or lean lunch

roast beef, sliced cheese, tomato, a
squirt of mustard and lettuce.
•Use spreads like chicken or tuna
salad for dipping. Kids have fun
spooning them onto whole-wheat
crackers.
Continue the snack approach to
lunch by offering fun ways to eat
