not far enough advanced in all
our parishes, to have the chil-

Then the Pope said; “Let the

the whole congregation should

that there’ were very few
churches, only one to my knowl-

many years until this ideal con-

Then I stated again most dear-

were not allowed to sing in our

solemn service at Maes or T*

parishes. To which the Holy gaim

place in the city of Houston ijast mi'
Sunday afternoon. It‘was the

now being built on Houston

parish of All Saints. It Is just
one year since this parish was
established by the Right Rev.
Bishop Gallagher and placed in
charge of the Rev. George T,

months the site for a church was
purchased on Tenth and Harvard

brick, which ie now sufficiently
advanced to admitof the blessing
of the foundations and altar site
and the laying of the corner

Right Rev. N. A, Gallagher,
D. D., Bishop of Galveston, of-

by a large number of priests,
and in the presence of many
hundreds of the laity. The tier-
