Unveiling Ceremonies.
Alvin Camp Woodmen of the World
will attend to the unveiling of R. G.
Fuqua’s monument in the Confeder-
ate cemetery the third Sunday in
November at 3 o’clock in the after-
noon. A cordial invitation is extend*
ed to the citizens of Alvin and sur-
rounding country, and to the camps
at Angleton, Arcadia and League
C'ity. All members of Alvin camp
are especially urged to be present.

Hotel for Seabrook.
Houston Post.
C.W.'Rungers, formerly of thia city,
now' a capitalist of New Orleans,
after a couple of weeks here left this
evening for home. While here he
purchased several lots at Seabrook
and will this winter erect on them a
modern and handsome hotel, for the
accommodation of visitors in the
summer. It will contain forts’ rooms,
but. be so built that forty more can be
added without marring the harmony
of the structure. He has perhaps

to the water, and expects to make
