A record crowd enjoyed
the 12th Annual Comanche
County Pow-Wow last week-
end! Admissions were up even
with the rain, on Saturday af-
ternoon. Thousands of people
from all over the state (and
a few from outside the state)
came to Comanche for this an-
nual event. Chairing the Pow-
Wow for the fourth year, Dr.
Russell Reynolds did another
superb job! The carnival by
Westland Amusements was a
nice addition to the Pow-Wow.
These folks were super to work
with and we got 26% of their
net profit plus $26.00 for each
game and concession they had
open. They had some delays,
including a blowout on a truck
tire on their way to Comanche,
and a shortage of employees
which caused them to open
late on Friday night and not
be open at all on Thursday
evening. They have been in-
vited back next year and we
