the occasion was the most unique ami
impressive that he btld ever attended.
During the entire speech Mr. Wol-
fert was given Hie most marked at-
tention. His speech created a pro-
found impression and was well re-
ceived
During the evening’s exercises pa-
triotic songs were sung, the assem-
blage lending their voices In a splen-
did ovation and with fooling and en-
thusiasm.
All In all, the whole evening was
spent in a useful and proper exhibi-
tion of the true American spirit.
Those who arc responsible for so fit-
ting a tribute to the honor nf thus©
for whom the occasion wits given are
to bo congratulated for the signal
success of the event. It will live
long in the memory of the hundreds
who witnessed It ns the vorv best of
its kind ever held here.
