Davis is a Pepperdine graduate, a specialist in a
dio-visual equipment, and a public school teacher. H<1
wife is also a Pepperdine alumnus, a home economist^

Gilliland is completing his studies at Pepperdine in
Latin American Histoiy and Culture, and is preparing to
be a school teacher. His wife, Carol, is a secretary in the
administrative offices of the college.
Gordon is a graduate of the Sunset School of Preach-
ing in Lubbock, Tex., a business executive, and an evan-
gelist. His wife, Banna, is a graduate of Abilene Chris-
tian College and is an experienced legal and medical
secretary.
Tom Jackson has been an outstanding Negro evange-
list in Portland, Ore., and is now moving to Oklahoma
City. Both he and his wife are capable personal workers,
and she is a writer.
Jordan is a building contractor who will be support-
ed by his business partner while he directs construction
of facilities for the work and homes for workers in Bra-
zil.
Karl Love is a former teacher at Columbia Christian
College and a dynamic young evangelist at Western Hills
in Fort Worth, Tex. •
Robert* is the evangelist for the church in Mountlake
Terrace, Wash., and is a song writer and director. He is
also an experienced Bible champ director, former busi-
ness executive, and a graduate of the University of Ore-
gon. Mary, his wife, is an alumnus of Oregon State Uni-
versity and is a capable teacher.

Jim Samuel is a minister of personal evangelism for
the Richland Hills church in Fort Worth, and is complet-
ing a doctorate in Fort Worth. He is an alumnus of Abi-
lene Christian College, as is his wife, Jan.
Townsend is a former sales representative, has
preached in Springfield, Ore., and is now minister for
the church in Davis, Calif. He is also owner of a reli-
gious book and supply house in Davis.
Captain Loy Wilson is completing a career in the
U.S. Air Force and is soon to retire. He has specialized
in aircraft and air field maintenance. He and his wife
have been active in the church in several mission areas,
including Iceland.
Of this number, three are scheduled to depart next
year with the “advance guard," bringing the total in this
initial force to about nine families and three individuals.
These include the Davis, Gilliland, Cal Hall, Carl Hen-
derson, Charley Huffman, C. H. Shipp and Glover Shipp
families, and Linda Cook, Gena Kincaid, and Gerry
Presley. The remaining families and a number of indi-
viduals are preparing for departure in 1968 and following
years.

Alabama Campaign Planned
ANNISTON, Ala.—Churches of Christ in the Anniston
area are cooperating in a campaign to be conducted in
the City Auditorium June 26-July 3. The effort will be un-
der the direction of the elders of the 25th and Noble
t Street Church of Christ.
V. P. Black has been selected to do the preaching.
Howard A. Blazer, Sr. will be the personal work director
and Clifford Smith will lead singing.

Friends Rally to Aid FWCC
After Tornado Slashes Area

" PORTLAND, Oregon — More than 200 adult workers
for Brazil! TTiis figure, unheard of before in the foreign
missionary program of the church, was passed recently
as 10 more families and a number of individuals officially
were named to participate in Operation ’68/Braril. And
the number is growing weekly as this exodus movement
becomes the largest and most diverse organized for anj
field outside the United States.
