We were so happy to hear that Daniel Brinkley
returned home from the hospital Saturday
following a weeks stay. He was injured when he
fell from the family automobile two weeks ago.
Mrs. Brinkley reports that he is growing
stronger every day and the doctor expect him to
be back on his feet in two months. His right leg
Is paralyzed from some hip damage sustained
when he hit the pavement. He also has difficulty
sitting up alone, however Mrs. Brinkley said his
grandpa got him to sit during a visit Sunday. She
expressed her thanks to the entire town of
Whitewright for the many kind deeds shown her
family during this crisis. She was especially
thankful for the prayers offered by all the
churches and individuals.

To Number Houses
Mike Flowers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Flowers, has
$ embarked on a very worthwhile project for his community.
® Mike, who has completed all the merit badge require-
s: ments to become an Eagle Scout, is now working on his
& service project.
& Mike chose putting house numbers on all the houses on
g; Grand Avenue, Walnut and West Locust streets in
|| Whitewright for his project.
Correct house numbers were obtained through city hall.
There will be no charge to home owners, as Mike paid for
the numbers himself and the Scouts of Troop 42 will help
to install them.
£ The Scouts plan to install the house numbers on
Ji Saturday, Aug. 21. Numbers will not be put on any house
