It was reported that some gas was
struck in the Big Six well, out a
short distance south west of town,
Monday evening, again that there ap-
peared to be a show of oil Tuesday.
Quite a number visited the welb and
said that there was enough gas to
burn. Interest has been at*a high
pitch and representatives of the big
companies are "rustling for leases.
The Gulf-Phillips people are rush-

can get their rig up and machinery
placed. There is persistent talk that
about two wells are expected to begin
to be drilled out in the neighborhood
of the Nocona well.
