A letter written to Rev. R. E. Milam, Moderator, Creath-Brazos Baptist Association, Navasota, Texas, from T. N. Carswell, Chairman United Texas Drys, dated October 12, 1942. Carswell expresses his amazement at the lack of interest of many Christians and the opposition of some non-Christians in the liquor traffic. He advises of having written 26 church schools in Texas requesting information regarding the curriculum each school offers on the effects of beverage alcohol. Milam, Mod. dated October 23, 1942 advising Carswell of their association having passed the resolution as written.

This collection was assembled by Thomas Norwood Carswell (1887-1978) and contains correspondence throughout his life.
