Deer Lyda:
I today made unconditional gifts of 3,000.00 to
you and to each of my other ten nieces and nephews
by irrevocably delivering a certain promissory note
for X33,000.00 dated December 21, 1942 and due
December 21, 1944, to I. H. Kempner, . W. Kempner
and S. E. Kempner as Trustees of such note.
I shall appreciate your formal acceptance of this
gift by your promptly signing and transmitting the
enclosed copy of this letter to the Trustees. It
is also necessary that you sign, date and transmit
to the Trustees the two enclosed copies of Donee's
Information Return in order that these may be pro-
perly filed with the Internal Revenue Collector.
