Lonnie Allen Had Recently
Visited in Lufkin—Was
A Former Reisdent
Rusk, Texas, June 7.—L. If.
Allen, 35, was drowned in Blue
Lake, several miles from here,
about noon Thursday. He and
some other men went out to
the lake on a fishing trip, leav-
ing here Wednesday.
He is survived by his wife
and small son. father, mother,
three sisters and three broth-
els. His lather has been ex-
press agent here for many
years.—Houston Chronicle.

deep regret inasmuch as Mr.
Allen, better known as "Lon-
nie" Allen, was well known to
a number of Lufkin citizens,
having resided here briefly
