Prior to Saturday’s election.
Dr. Coleman served the last
12 months of his first two-year
term as Mayor Pro-Tem. Mr.
Haynie will be serving his
first full term in office. He
was appointed last year to fill
the vacancy created by the
resignation of Gene Sanders.
Three other Navasota ns re-
ceived one write-in vote each;
namely, Robert Nemir, Bobby
Curry and Tim Burns.
