International Club
Planning Election
By Charles R. Ketchum
A short organizational meet-
ing of the International Club
was held on Monday, Sept. 28,
1964, in the Library Auditorium.
Since this was the first meet-
ing of the club, Mr. Roberdeau,
the club’s sponsor, acted as
president and called the meet-
ing to order.
During the meeting, a discus-
sion was held on the club’s ob-
jectives, a membership drive,
club programs, and the elec-
tion of club officials.
It was proposed and accept-
ed that the constitution be read
at the club’s next meeting and
that the election of club offic-
ers be held at that time.
Ronny Wallen, a freshman
student, agreeded to give a
complete report on the presi-
dential elections recently held
in Chile.
The club is still appealing for
new members. Membership is
open to all foreign language
students and all SPC students
who are interested in the in-
ternational problems of the
world. The next meeting will
be held on Monday, Oct. 12,
1964, in the Library Auditorium.
