r. & Mrs. James Armour Lindsay
The Berry Schools
Mount Berry, Georgia
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Lindsay:
I have yours of the 19th and can only reply extremely
hastily as I am trying to get away for a brief vacation.
I received the tie and am very grateful for the thought,
but I don't feel that I should accept the gift of a student who
has woven the tie and has done this work in order to work her
way through school. Will you, therefore, please hand her the two
enclosed 41.00 bills to aid in her earnings in school.
I leave shortly for what I hope will be the longest
vacation I have taken for many years.
With personal regards and best wishes,
Yours very txuly,t
