Music for this day and for the grand
ball at night will be furnished by the
Prause hand of Bernardo .
The third day, Thursday, November
• 2nd, will be a comie advertising parade,
to be followed again by racing, tourna-
dislike the elder chi id, and to show great
partiality between the two. It results
in the father clinging still more closely
to the adopted daughter, and the dispo-
sition of his own daughter is spoiled by
the mother’s attempt to make up to
her for having deprived her of so much.
The father of the adopted daughter
comes to the farm, where he is not
recognized, and secures an oportunity
to work for his board and clothes.
How he finally regains his own
daughter, and is discovered to be a
wealthy man, is plainly told in the
following dialogue.
A pleasing feature will be the excel-
lent musical program by “Paul’s” or-
chestra another Sealy organization of
splendid talent.,
The prices of admission will be: Re-
served seats 50 cents;greneral admission
to balcony and first floor 35 cents;
children under 12 years 25 cents. Seats

backward in “jumping into the band
wagon ” Especially was this ncces-
aery in encouraging people to take part
in the parades. The result is that many
are now preparing, to enter into this
• feature of attraction and the parades
will no doubt be quite extensive.
All exhibits of both agricultural
products and live stock will be located
at the Sealy Opera House and on the
grounds adjoining. Refreshments of
all kinds will be found on the grounds
this year and visitors may come and re-
main all day.
On Tuesday night the Sealy Dramatic
Company will present a special bill at
the Opera House, and on Wednesday
night a ballwill be given.
This, the third event of the Austin
County Fair Association, promises to
be the best yet, and all ciUzjp of our
county interested in Attar results in
life should attend. Remember the

The sermon by Rev. Bird ot '’Faith,
Hope and Charity” was an able dis-
cource of the Scriptures and was at-
tentively listened to. All in all the
services were a great inspiration to the
communicants of this Mission, who
hope to see the seed thus sown yield a
bountiful harvest
Mr. F A. Hackbarth has the thanks
of the visitors and communicants for
his courtesy in convoying many of the
former to and from the church . in his
auto.
The services at St John’s Episcopal
Church in this city last Sunday night
were largely attended by a very appre-
ciative and attentive congregation.
The feature of he evening’s worship
was the singing of the vested choir of
twenty voices from Mt Mary’s Chureh,
of Bellville. The song service,
rendered by this organization of well
trained singers was indeed entraneing.
The following is the personnel of the
members thereof: Messrs. A. J. Laas,
Jerry Esterak, -dHerman Louwein,
Walter Viereck, C. K Langhammer, .
Row land Bader, Richard E Zeiske and
Farres Torbron; Misses Lulah Steck,
Josephine Chesley, Zo Ellen Cuminge,
Mabel Hill, Evangeline Mat thaei, Alice
Burns, Flora Schauerbammer, Thelma ■
Ross, Virginia Tomlinson, Hazel Hill
and Mesdames Agnes Glenn and Chas.
Strauss The choir was also accom-
panied by the following Bell villites who
occupied seats in the congregation:
Messrs Chas. Strauss, M. H Starnes,
Roy Wilson, B. A. Schultz, Henly
Tomlinson, and Wm. Schneider, Jr ;

and General Manager Chas. C. C. Carlisle, and today
the mill is operating nicely in all its departments. A
more descriptive writeup of thia manufacturing insti-
tution will be given in these columns nextweek.
Every progressive citizen of the community is
indeed pleased to view the stride thus taken in indus-
trial lines, and the Nnws believes that from the estab-
lishment of this institution will soon come many
another manufacturing industry that’will work to the
advantage and upbuilding of Sealy.
