Dear Denny:
The enclosure arrived here today. Even though it is probably
what newspaper reporters call stale information, I thought it still
might be of interest to you.
There is little to report from here. The "tumult and the
shouting" of the Christmas holidays has died down and we are leading
a very quiet life. All the grandchildren are back at school or
college and Ceci presumably in New York, though at last reports Ne
heard from her in Houston that Eastern Air Lines had not honored r
reservations and that was simply a human error.
A good many members of the Kempner family are due here to
take some cognizance - which I personally wish they would not - of
my birthday on the 14th and Lee's on the 21st of January. The Harris
Kempner Westons sail from here on a cruise on a French Line steamer
to the West Indies which I hope they will enjoy more than I can
anticipate.
Fondly,

P. S. I am sending you by separate mail a publication, in the last
page of which I think you will be interested.
