Color tinted halftone postcard from around 1924 showing the new high school, Marshall, Texas. The building was constructed in 1924. The view shows the facade and left side of the building. It is a brick and concrete building of two-stories on raised basement, with an elaborate entrance in an English Gothic Academic style. A series of steps leads up the terraced lawn to the main entrance. Printed on the top of the image in black is the title, "New High School, Marshall, Texas." The code number 97359-N is printed below the image in the lower right corner. Printed on the back of the card on the left edge of the message section: "Distributed by Eastex Photo Supply, Marshall, Texas." Printed between the message and address sections: "Genuine Curteich-Chicago 'C.T. American Art' post card (Reg. U. S. Pat. Off.)" There is no postmark or message on the back of the card.
