Christmas will become evident
Friday afternoon, Dec. 12, at
2 o’clock with the arrival of
Santa Claus in Canton, with all
the color and festivity of the sea-
son.
Ole Santa will parade through
town riding atop the fire engine, |
escorted by the youngsters of the
town. After the parade Santa will
return ot the main street, which
will be roped off, to greet every-
one and to talk with each of the
children under 12 years of age,
who would like to tell Santa what
they would like for Christmas.
Santa will give each child fruits

This occasion is sponsored by
members of the Lions Club and
the local business men.
School will be dismissed in or-
der that all the children can see
the parade.
