was buried in the Denton lOOFcemetary Sept. 27. He di-
ed Sept. 26.
Mrs. Vera Smith, mother of Weldon Corbell, is receiv-
ing treatment in Baylor Hospital in Dallas.
John Coulter is a surgical patient in Wysong Hospital
in McKinney.
Those who visited Mr. Coulter are Rev. Theo Wright,
Mr. and Mrs. Mickey Fry, and Mr. and Mrs Earl Morris.
Mr. and Mrs. George Callahan of Fort Worth visited
Olivia Marion, Sunday, Sept. 29.

Mr. and Mrs. Lee L. Derryberry of McKinney
will observe their 63rd wedding anniversary Oct. 15.
Mrs. Derryberry, 80, the former Alice Blach,
was born in the Little Elm area, and Derryberry, 85,
a retired farmer, was residing in the area at the time
they were married in Frisco in 1911.
Celina Methodist will celebrate
On Oct. 13, at 2:30 p.m. The membership of the First
United Methodist Church of Celina, will celebrate its Dedica-
tion of Church renewal and beautification.
Upwards of $20,000 has been recently contributed and
paid in transforming the interior of the church into a most
worshipful atmosphere.
Rev. Roy W. Bevan, minister, on behalf of the congreg-
ation, invites all ministers of the North Texas Annual Confer-
ence and friends of the congregation to be present.
It would be wise to arrive early in order to secure a seat
on the first floor of the sanctuary, Mr. Bevan said.
