[Interior Window of Austin Avenue Methodist Church]
Description
Photograph of a tall, narrow stained glass window taken inside the tower of the Austin Avenue Methodist Church of Waco. The design is a series of rectangles in a marbled orange color, surrounded by thin panes in marbled green and orange that form a border around the entire window and also create a shape at the top like a pointed arch ending in a trefoil. The window is inset within a heavy, dark wooden frame and dates from 1925.
The Private Collection of T. B. Willis consists of photographs of World War I Camp MacArthur, photographs of historic buildings across Texas, a collection of African-American photographs, and additional photograph albums which include those of his family who settled in Texas during the 19th century.
