Those residents who will be
21 years of age by the time of
the 1967 elections must regis-
ter by Jan. 31 in order to-be
eligible to vote.
This and other requirements,
have been set forth in a memot
randum by the Texas attorney
general office concerning chan-
ges in the newly adopted 1966
Texas voter registration law.
In the past, those who would
be 2) years old were required
to register within 30 days prior,
to an election in order to ‘qua-
lify as Voters. \
Although the poll tax has
been repealed, every voter,
except those over 60. must
register by Jan. 31 to qualify
for voting.
