fied today that Jack Ruby was legally insane when he
killed Lee Harvey Oswald.
“It is my opinion that Jack Ruby did not know the dif-
ference between right and wrong or the nature or con-
sequences of his act," Dr. Walter Bromberg of New York
told the jury in Ruby’s murder trial.
Bromberg said he believed Ruby was in a state of "sus-
pended consciousness” when he killed Oswald. accused
presidential assassin.
He described Ruby, whom he examined in December,
