Full-length tintype photograph of a woman related to the Emery family. She wears a long sleeve, long dark dress with a lace collar and lace at the cuffs of the sleeves. She wears her hair in an up-do on the top of her head. It appears that her cheeks may have been hand colored a very light pink. She has one hand to her cheek, her elbow and other hand resting on a tasseled stand. The painted backdrop shows carved stone pillars, steps, and foliage.
