"Contrary to published re-
ports that Landmark Inn is closed
for repairs since being gener-
ously donated to the State of
Texas, I wish to state that I
enjoyed tremendously the night
March 22 I spent there.
School Carnival for the last 3
years and was active with the
MV Band Boosters, helping to
run the concession stand during {
football games.
I also am a director of the
BAM Citizens Group, Rio Me-
dina Community chairman, as
well as a member of the BAM
Finance Committee.
I also was the general chair-
man of the St. Louis Day Cele-
bration for 4 consecutive years.

The following letter was
written by John Aldridge, a
teacher in a junior high school
in San Antonio. The first time he
stayed at the inn, he came on his
bicycle and had no idea he would

It was marvelous. The lecturers
were well prepared, the slides
did not get mixed, there was no
time wasted.
We had our bag lunch (from
i Sammy’s... the cooks came early
so we could get the lunches by
8 a.m.)ina conference room at 4
big tables.
We held a called meeting and '
voted to have the next meeting
on Tuesday, April 2, so that our ?
