one-act plays by the Dramatic Club
and music by the Toy Orchestra of
the Primary department will be pre-
sented in the high School auditorium
Friday night, March 26, at 7:30 p. m.
The Dramatic Club has a member-
ship of about fifty high school stu-
dents, but very few of them have ap
peared on the stage previous to this
year- Fur that reason, it was decided
by the club to present enough one-
act plays to include every member in
a cast at least one time, and also
that no charge should Im- made for
the plays, since the -Indents would
lie doing "shop-work" instead of
presenting the plays soley to enter-
tain the audience.
The choice of plays, however, is
better than it otherwise would be-
Publishers have given their permis-
sion for the plays to be presented
without the payment of royalty. since
no charge will be made for them, if
a charge were being made, the royal-
ties on the plays which are being us-
ed would lie higher than the club
could possibly afford.
The public is invited to attend the
first of a series of such performances,
and a full evening of comedy and en-
tertainment is promised.
