Little Hock Ark Feb. 16.—-The
delegates to the Business Men’s
Convention began to arrive yester-
day and the throngs from the in-
coming trains fairly inundated our
city.
This morning the delegates be-
stirred themselves early and were
much in evidence in the hotel lob-
bies ami other public gathering
places so much so that the august
Arkansas general assembly has
dwindled in Interest ami become as
a fourth rate side show to the bus-
iness people s circus
The convention met promptly at
10 o'clock and lost no time In get-
ting to work selecting 11. L. Rem-
mel ;is temporary chairman. Tex-
arkana was honored In the tempo-
rary organization by the selection
of O. A. Hays as secretary.
Governor Dan W. Jones Bob
Crockett II L. Remmel and others
made eloquent addresses after
which committees were appointed
