He offered thanks for “a president
who admits that he gets down on
his knees and talks to God.” Hayes

“good things can come about.”
Hayes also prayed for the well-
being of several governmental fig-
ures, including the county judge,
local representatives, the governor
and the lieutenant governor,
among others.
Butch Foster prayed for the
military (all branches at home and
abroad), asking for divine guid-
ance and direction for America’s
troops. He called on the Almighty
to act as a shield all around those
currently in harm’s way overseas.
“Help the military to stand be-
tween us and evil,” Foster asked.
