Thanksgiving was observed
the members of the First
Christian Church Sunday with a
special offering for the Juliette
Fowler Homes in Dallas,
special music by Mr. and Mrs.
Loy Atteberry from Dallas and
a fellowship dinner after the
service. Out of town guests for
the occasion were Mr. and Mrs.
Loy Atterberry, Russell and
Steven, Mr. and Mrs. Steve
Bender of Cleburne, Mrs. Zula
Moore of Ferris, Rev. and Mrs.
Dan Bailey, Rebecca and
Daniel. About 40 people were
present for the dinner.
Mrs. Susie Brumley from the
Brookhaven Nursing Home in
Ferris spent the weekend with
relatives in Palmer. She en-
joyed a 42 game in the home of
Mrs. Grace Hopkins Saturday
afternoon, with Mrs. Mattie Lou
