I am more fleshy than I ever was, & have just finished altering my last winter dressses to fit, they were so much too small. I am devoted to Mgry Tate. she is a sweet affectionate woman, & so kind hearted & so fond of me & my family, she always enquires most affectionately for brother David & Sister Clara, & I hope you will sometimes speak of her in your letters, it would gratify her so much. Jimmie seems to be very steady & doing well, & very happy. I will send you my receipt & some money by Mag. Neely has taken the plank from around your lot to make a cotton scaffold, & the large gate posts have been taken up by some one, but I suppose he will allow you what is right for it.
