Description

A letter from Hamilton K. Redway at Kelly's Creek in West Virginia to his wife, Loriette Redway, on June 5, 1865. In a previous letter from his wife, Loriette asked him how he got the three hundred dollars that he sent to Mr. Baker. Redway informs Loriette that he received the money as pay for the months of January and February 1865. Redway explains that he has only received pay for those two months.
