The work was under the general supervision of Mr. George N. Coffey,
who was assisted by Messrs. A. W. Mangum, William T. Carter, jr.,
R. A. Winston, A. E. Kocher, W. J. Geib, J. W. Nelson, Allen L.
Higgins, and Rex E. Willard.
I have the honor to transmit herewith the manuscript report and
map covering this work and to recommend that they be published as
advance sheets of Field Operations of the Bureau of Soils for 1909,
as authorized by law.
