STAR DRUG STORE
REVIVAL BEGINS
SUNDAY AT THE
METHODIST CHURCH
The Judge Morris Evangelistic par-
ty will be here next Sunday to lead
in a great revival campaign. There
will possibly be five or six in the par-
ty. Judge Morris has been in the E-
vangelistic work for a little over six
years and in that time nearly twenty-
six thousand have been brought to the
Lord under his ministry. No other
evangelist in America has in these
six years such a remarkable record.
We are indeed fortunate in having
such a man to come to our town. We
are planning to seat a thousand peo-
ple. This is a small audience for
Judge Morris who ha; during this
year preached to audiences of ten
thousand people.
We invite the co-operation of all
the Christian people of our town in
this revival. We want your presence
and your prayers and your work with
us that we may together have such a
levival in Aspermont as we have
never had before.
Geo. W. Montgomery, Pastor.

MEMORY OF SISTER SALLIE
• WHITAKER
Entered in to rest July 23, 1927.
One by one we miss the face* of the
friends we once possessed.
One by one their names are graven
ceased to labor.
Home at Rest:
The Golden Gates were opened and
a gentle voice said come
And with a farewell unspoken
She quietly entered home;
And so will the life of our dearly be-
loved sister and let us turn our
thoughts in loving sympathy ar.d pay
tribute to her memory ' ho has an-
swered the last call.
N'ot dead this dear on1 we are mis-
sing.
Just resting there on yonder hill
To wait 'or us.
Rut we shall miss th? lingering glad-
ness of her smile
The music of her voir ■*
Forever Still;
She still lives on within our hearts,
A tender memory;
N'or shall we grieve that she has left
This world of pain and strife
God's will be done
Tis best:
Some day we'll meet again
This dear one we are missing;
We'll find her there beside the
Throne waiting:
To welcome u.s
Whereas The Divine Ruler has taken ■
from our midst our beloved sister,
we, the members of the Rebekah
Lodge, do bow in humble submission,
and we request that a copy of these
resolutions be published in the As-
permont Star and Jayton Chronicle
also that a copy be sent to the be-
reaved family.

Monday
night from Rule, Fred C. Haile, of
the Spur Mutual, went into the ditch
and secured several injuries. It seems
that he was driving at a late hour by
himself and went to sleep. He struck
with enough force to pull off the
steering wheel and throw himself
ear from the seat. He incurred three
broken ribs, a painful lick in his left
side, an injury on his right shin and
a good sized knot on his head. He ar-
rived home Tuesday night but Is not
able to be out much at this time.
