cases of screw-worms in Tamau-
lipas and an area 30 miles south
of Kajs'le Pass pose a threat to
the Texas border regions from
El Paso to Laredo
"There were hot spots at Car-
rizo Springs and Uvalde last
I year," Dr. Ben Vale told mem-
bers of the state Animal Health
Commission," "and we are con-
cerned with two more cases re-
ixirted in T xas."
Dr Vale said 23 Texas cases
were reported in January, one ia
February and two in March. The
last two were in the Hida&<> area-

ed that the program had difficulty

ile flies to use up the single mat
ing period of native female flies.
