Muy señor mío y amigo:
Confirmo la invitación personal que a nombre
del señor Secretario de Gobernación, don Adolfo Ruiz Cor
tines, tuve el gusto de hacer a usted para que en unión""
de otras prominentes personalidades de Houston, visitara
nuestro país, d.el 5 al 12 inclusive, del próximo mes de
octubre, como huésped de nuestro Gobierno, y me es grato
reiterarle el^ruego de que sea tan bondadoso de aceptar
esta invitación, ya que creemos que este viaje redundará
en las mejores relaciones amistosas y comerciales entre
México y ese importante puerto de los Estados Unidos
Suplico a usted sea tan amable de contestarme
su gentil aceptación definitiva para el viaje, cuyo pro-
grama tentativo le remito, y aprovecho la oportunidad pa-
ra renovarle mi consideración más alta y distinguida
