Dear Johnny:
My sincere thanks for your kind words of support, and Haxel and
T look forward to the "temaleda" you so graciously plan. Phil passed
along your thanks on the Captain McMarigell case and your plans to
h* *t the "tomalada." Unfortunately, I had only a brief opportunity
tc Visit with him by phone, as neither of them could accept my in-
vitation to be gueete at the Texas Delegation luncheon due to a prior
commitment.
At any rate, I want you to know I wrote the President concerning
the desire to have February 13-19 proclaimed NATIONAL LULAC WEEK,
and enclose a copy of my letter for your information. I certainly
hope that he will find it within his province to do so, and appreci-
ate the chance to be of help.
With kind regards, 1 am
Sincerely,
ob Casey
